Methacrylic Acid

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Methacrylic Acid (MAA) is a functional monomer and an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid. It reacts as both a vinyl compound and a carboxylic acid. Methacrylic Acid (MAA) readily undergoes polymerization and addition reactions. MAA copolymers can be prepared with acrylic and methacrylic esters, acrylonitrile, maleic acid esters, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, styrene, butadiene, ethylene, and other monomers.
