PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Methyl Acrylate (MA) is an ester of Acrylic Acid and is used as a raw material in the synthesis of polymers. Methyl Acrylate (MA) can form homopolymers and copolymers. Copolymers of Methyl Acrylate (MA) can be prepared with (meth)acrylic acid and its salts, amides, and esters, along with (meth)acrylates, acrylonitrile, maleic esters, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, styrene, butadiene, and other monomers.

APPLIATION AREAS

Methyl Acrylate (MA) is used as a co-monomer in the production of polyacrylonitrile fibers and organic glass. It is also widely used as a co-monomer in the synthesis of acrylic dispersions, which find applications in adhesives, binders, leather impregnation compositions, printing, varnishes, paper, cellulose, and other industries.
