Allyl Methacrylate (AMA) is an ester of Methacrylic acid and is used as a raw material in the synthesis of polymers. Allyl Methacrylate (AMA) is a monomer with a characteristic high reactivity, containing both allylic and methacrylic functionalities, and a cyclic hydrophobic group attached to the methacrylate group. It forms homopolymers and copolymers. Copolymers of Allyl Methacrylate (AMA) can be prepared with (meth)acrylic acid and its salts, amides, esters, etc.
