PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Acrylic acid (CAS 79-10-7) is an organic molecule known as the simplest unsaturated acid. At room temperature, acrylic acid is in liquid form and has a characteristic acidic and sour odor. It exhibits a corrosive effect in both liquid and vapor states. Acrylic acid is commonly used in the formation of polymers. Its applications include plastics, coatings, adhesives, elastomers, paints, and varnishes. Additionally, acrylic acid is used in the production of hygienic medical products, detergents, and wastewater treatment chemicals. The low toxicity of acrylic acid is attributed to its corrosive nature.
