2-Hydroxyethyl Acrylate (2-HEA) is an ester of Acrylic Acid and is used as a raw material in the synthesis of polymers. 2-Hydroxyethyl Acrylate (2-HEA) is a methacrylate monomer with characteristic high reactivity and a branched hydrophobic part. It forms homo-polymers and copolymers. Copolymers of 2-Hydroxyethyl Acrylate (2-HEA) can be prepared with (meth) acrylic acid and its salts, amides, and esters, along with methacrylate, acrylonitrile, maleic esters, butadiene, and other monomers.
