Ethy Acrylate (EA) is an ester of Acrylic acid and is used as a raw material in the synthesis of polymers. Ethyl Acrylate (EA) is a monofunctional monomer with the characteristic high reactivity of the acrylate group and a long hydrophobic portion. It forms homopolymers and copolymers. Copolymers can be prepared with (meth)acrylic acid and its salts, amides, esters, along with (meth)acrylates, acrylonitrile, maleic esters, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, styrene, and other monomers.
